여행 기록·메모·위치 기록은 여러분의 기기 안에 저장되며, 앱은 이것을 어디로도 보내지 않습니다. 1.3.0부터 앱이 기기 밖으로 보내는 것은 세 가지입니다 — 앱 설치 수를 세는 정보(Meta), 무료 7일이 삭제 후 재설치로 반복되지 않게 하는 기기 확인값(되돌릴 수 없게 변환한 값)과 최초 등록 시각, 그리고 구독 결제를 위해 스토어(Google Play·App Store)와 주고받는 구매 정보입니다. 셋 다 여러분의 여행·메모·위치를 담지 않습니다. 1.3.0부터 광고(Google AdMob)는 없습니다. 이와 별개로, 여러분이 기기 백업(Google 백업·iCloud)을 켜 두셨다면 운영체제가 이 앱의 기록을 여러분 계정의 백업에 포함할 수 있습니다(아래 «기기 백업» 참조).
Tripaint는 여러분의 여행 기록을 저장하는 서버를 두지 않습니다. 계정도 없고, 로그인도 없습니다. 앱은 여행·메모·위치·경로를 어디로도 보내지 않습니다.
광고를 보고 앱을 설치한 사람이 얼마나 되는지 알기 위해, Meta(페이스북) SDK가 앱이 설치·실행되었다는 사실을 Meta에 보냅니다. 함께 가는 것은 Meta SDK가 이 앱 설치마다 만드는 익명 식별자와, 앱 버전·기기 모델·OS 버전·언어·화면 크기·통신사 같은 일반적인 기기 정보입니다. 기기에 Facebook 앱이 설치돼 있으면 Meta가 설치를 광고와 연결하는 데 쓰는 식별자가 함께 갈 수 있습니다. 전송 과정에서 기기의 IP 주소도 Meta에 전달됩니다. 광고 식별자(Android 광고 ID / iOS IDFA)는 Meta에 보내지 않도록 설정했습니다.

이 SDK는 광고를 보여주는 것이 아니라 설치 수를 세는 용도입니다. Meta의 데이터 처리에 대해서는 Meta 개인정보처리방침을 참고하세요.
Tripaint는 처음 7일 동안 모든 기능을 무료로 쓸 수 있고, 그 뒤에는 구독이나 평생 이용권이 필요합니다. 앱을 지우고 다시 설치해 무료 기간이 반복되지 않도록, 앱이 다음을 우리 서버에 보냅니다.
여행·메모·위치·경로는 포함되지 않습니다. 이 서버는 Supabase(데이터 처리 수탁자)가 운영하며, 데이터는 대한민국 서울 리전(ap-northeast-2)에 보관됩니다. 보관 기간은 무료 기간 반복을 막는 목적이 유지되는 동안(서비스 운영 기간)입니다. 이 값만으로는 어느 분의 기기인지 알 수 없어 개별 요청으로 특정하기 어렵지만, 궁금한 점은 아래 문의처로 연락해 주세요.
구독(월·연)과 평생 이용권은 Google Play 또는 App Store가 결제를 처리합니다. 앱은 카드 정보를 받지 않습니다. 앱은 기능을 열어 주기 위해 스토어에 이 기기 계정이 무엇을 구매했는지(요금제·만료 여부)를 물어보고, 그 결과를 기기 안에만 저장합니다 — 우리 서버로 보내지 않습니다. 결제에 관한 정보 처리는 Google 개인정보처리방침·Apple 개인정보 처리방침을 따릅니다.
Tripaint 1.2.x 이하 버전에는 지도 탭과 목록 탭 하단에 작은 배너 광고가 있었습니다(메모를 쓰는 화면에는 광고가 없었습니다). 1.3.0부터 광고와 광고 SDK를 모두 뺐습니다. 아직 이전 버전을 쓰고 계신다면 아래 내용이 그 버전에 적용됩니다. 광고를 보여주기 위해 Google AdMob SDK가 다음을 Google에 보냅니다(Google 공식 공개 목록 — Android · iOS 기준):
목적은 광고 제공·측정, 분석, 사기 방지입니다. 여기에도 여행 이름·메모·다녀온 지역·위치 기록은 포함되지 않습니다.

앱을 열 때 뜨는 창과 설정 화면에 나오는 «만든 사람의 다른 앱» 소개는 앱에 들어 있는 목록을 보여줍니다. Android에서는 이 기기에 이미 설치된 앱을 목록에서 빼는데, 설치 여부는 기기 안에서만 확인하고 어디로도 보내지 않습니다. 이 소개 때문에 우리에게 나가는 정보는 없습니다. 소개를 누르면 그 앱의 스토어 페이지(Google Play·App Store)가 열립니다. Android에서는 이때 링크에 «Tripaint의 어느 화면(앱을 열 때 뜨는 창·설정)에서 왔는지»를 나타내는 표시가 붙어, 그 앱의 Google Play 유입 통계에 잡힙니다. 이 표시에는 여러분이나 기기를 알아볼 수 있는 정보가 들어 있지 않습니다. 스토어 페이지가 열린 뒤부터는 스토어의 개인정보처리방침이 적용됩니다.

여러분이 직접 고른 파일을 기기 안에서 읽어 저장합니다. 파일은 업로드되지 않습니다.
경로 영상은 기기 안에서 만들어집니다. 여러분이 공유 버튼을 눌러 다른 앱(인스타그램, 메신저 등)으로 보내면, 그 다음부터는 해당 앱의 개인정보처리방침이 적용됩니다.
설정에서 여러분의 기록을 파일 하나로 내보낼 수 있습니다. 이 동작도 기기 안에서 일어나며, 만들어진 파일을 어디로 보낼지는 여러분이 공유 화면에서 직접 고릅니다 — 우리는 받지 않습니다. 위치 기록은 여러분이 켤 때만 파일에 포함됩니다. 내보낸 파일을 다시 고르면 기록을 되돌릴 수 있으며, 이때 기기에 있는 기존 기록은 지워지지 않습니다.
Android의 Google 백업(새 기기로 옮기기 포함)이나 iPhone의 iCloud 백업을 켜 두셨다면, 운영체제가 이 앱의 기록(여행·메모·목록·색칠한 지도·위치 기록·앱 설정 등 앱이 기기에 저장한 값)을 여러분 계정의 백업에 포함할 수 있습니다(Android에서는 구독 상태·무료 기간 값은 기기에 묶인 값이라 백업에서 뺍니다). 기기를 바꿔도 기록이 이어지게 하기 위해서입니다. 이 백업은 Google·Apple이 여러분의 계정에 보관하며, 우리는 접근할 수 없습니다. 원하지 않으면 기기 설정에서 백업을 끄거나(예: Android 설정 → 시스템 → 백업 — 제조사마다 다를 수 있습니다 / iPhone 설정 → 이름 → iCloud → iCloud 백업), iPhone에서는 백업할 앱 목록에서 Tripaint만 뺄 수 있습니다.
Tripaint는 특별히 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 아동의 개인정보를 알면서 수집하지 않습니다.
이 방침이 바뀌면 이 페이지를 갱신하고 시행일을 고칩니다. 수집 항목이 생기는 변경이라면 앱 안에서 알립니다.

Your trips, notes and location history are stored on your device, and the app never sends them anywhere. From version 1.3.0 the app sends three things off the device: install-measurement data (Meta); a one-way device check value and its first registration time, so the 7 free days can't be repeated by reinstalling; and purchase information exchanged with the store (Google Play or the App Store) for subscriptions. None of them contains your trips, notes or location. From 1.3.0 there are no ads (Google AdMob). Separately, if you have device backup turned on (Google backup or iCloud), your operating system may include this app's records in your account's backup (see "Device backups" below).
Tripaint has no server storing your travels. There is no account and no login. The app never sends your trips, notes, locations or routes anywhere.
To learn how many people install the app after seeing an ad, the Meta (Facebook) SDK reports that the app was installed and opened. Along with it go an anonymous identifier the Meta SDK creates for each install of this app, and ordinary device information such as app version, device model, OS version, language, screen size and mobile carrier. If the Facebook app is installed on the device, an identifier Meta uses to link the install to an ad may also be included. Your device's IP address also reaches Meta as part of the connection. The app is set not to send advertising identifiers (Android Advertising ID / iOS IDFA) to Meta.

This SDK counts installs; it does not serve advertising. See Meta's Privacy Policy for how Meta handles data.
Every feature is free for the first 7 days; after that a subscription or the lifetime pass is needed. So that the free period can't be repeated by deleting and reinstalling the app, the app sends the following to our server:
Trips, notes, locations and routes are not included. The server is operated by Supabase (our data processor) and the data is stored in the Seoul, South Korea region (ap-northeast-2). It is kept for as long as it serves its purpose of preventing repeated free periods (while the service operates). Because the value alone cannot tell us whose device it is, we generally cannot single out an individual record on request, but please contact us with any questions.
Subscriptions (monthly or yearly) and the lifetime pass are paid through Google Play or the App Store. The app never receives card details. To unlock features, the app asks the store what this device's store account has purchased (plan and whether it has expired) and keeps the result on the device only — it is not sent to us. Payment data is handled under Google's Privacy Policy and Apple's Privacy Policy.
Tripaint 1.2.x and below showed a small banner ad at the bottom of the Map and Lists tabs (there were no ads on the screens where you write notes). From 1.3.0 all ads and the advertising SDK have been removed. If you still use an earlier version, the following applies to it. To serve ads, the Google AdMob SDK sends the following to Google (per Google's published disclosure — Android · iOS):
Purposes: advertising and measurement, analytics, fraud prevention. Trip names, notes, visited regions and location history are never included.

The "More apps from the maker" cards, shown when you open the app and in Settings, show a list built into the app. On Android, apps already installed on this device are left out; that check happens only on the device and is not sent anywhere. Nothing is sent to us because of these cards. Tapping one opens that app's store page (Google Play or the App Store). On Android, the link carries a tag saying which Tripaint screen it came from (the launch card or Settings), so it shows up in that app's Google Play acquisition statistics. The tag contains nothing that identifies you or your device. Once the store page is open, the store's own privacy policy applies.

The file you choose is read and stored on your device. It is not uploaded.
Route videos are rendered on your device. If you tap Share and send one to another app (Instagram, a messenger, …), that app's privacy policy applies from that point on.
You can export your records as a single file from Settings. This also happens on your device, and you choose where the file goes from the share sheet — we never receive it. Location history is included only when you switch it on. Picking an exported file restores your records, and nothing already on the device is deleted in the process.
If you have Google backup (including moving to a new device) on Android or iCloud Backup on iPhone turned on, your operating system may include this app's records (trips, notes, lists, painted map, location history, app settings and other values the app stores on the device) in your account's backup, so your records carry over when you change devices (on Android, the subscription-status and free-period values are tied to the device and are excluded from backup). That backup is kept by Google or Apple in your account, and we cannot access it. If you don't want this, turn off backup in your device settings (e.g. Android Settings → System → Backup — this varies by manufacturer / iPhone Settings → your name → iCloud → iCloud Backup); on iPhone you can also exclude just Tripaint from the list of apps to back up.
Tripaint is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If this policy changes we will update this page and its effective date. If a change introduces any data collection, we will tell you inside the app.
